GreenPlaces is the source of truth for business's sustainability activity. We ensure that companies' environmental reporting is compliant and help you communicate the companies’ impact to customers and investors.

ROLE

GreenPlaces helps companies gain visibility and transparency into their carbon emissions so they may create sustainability plans and comply with national and international standards. GreenPlaces is seeking an Account Manager to support clients, ensuring excellent customer experience and retention. In this role, you will directly interface and prioritize client needs and business development, and collaborate with other account managers to improve the overall client experience. The ideal candidate has an excellent ability to multitask, communicate effectively, is a team player, and possesses a high level of attention to detail. Experience in project management, account management and/or marketing/communications is a plus.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain written and verbal communication with clients to ensure their needs/wants are being met
  • Foster and build strong client relationships
  • Working to constantly improve the customer experience with a proactive approach
  • Noting and communicating customer feedback to the business to help other teams improve and upgrade their performance/deliverables
  • Collaborating with all internal departments to address client needs/wants
  • Execute data collection and assist the Sustainability Team with data collection needs for greenhouse gas inventory reporting and other applicable client projects
  • Work with the Sustainability team to develop sustainability/emission reduction plans for clients
  • Assist with the development of sustainability content for the company’s entire client base

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills (Copywriting and powerpoint skills are pluses)
  • Experience in marketing and client related asset creation
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • A team player, collaborative
  • Time management and multitasking skills - Ability to prioritize and handle multiple project for different clients at the same time, that might be in different stages of completion
  • Ability to work independently
  • Capable of self-led learning and process implementation

Experience

  • Previous independent roles in any of the following fields: Account Management, Customer Relations, Project Management, Marketing & Communications
  • Experience with sustainability is a plus
