We are seeking a detail-oriented Web Specialist to assist with website redesign projects. This role is client-facing and will require you to manage a range of web development tasks, including website optimization, SEO, and DNS management. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, SEO, and website management, along with a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Support website redesign projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and web designers and on-time delivery.
  • Client Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates and gathering project requirements.
  • DNS Record Management: Update DNS records and resolve domain-related issues across various hosting providers.
  • Version Control: Take screenshots of the current website and manually back up the new website.
  • SEO Optimization: Inspect and migrate SEO keywords, GA4 or GTM tags, and metadata. Update page URLs, metadata, and keywords for SEO purposes.
  • Website Tracking: Implement tracking tools, such as Google Lighthouse, GA4, and Google Search Console, to measure site performance.
  • Social Media Integration: Connect social media URLs to the website, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Mobile & Tablet Optimization: Ensure websites are responsive and optimized for tablet and mobile devices.
  • Form & Visual Management: Check and update contact forms, ensuring proper naming conventions, and update favicons, alt text, and open graph images.
  • Link Validation: Ensure all website links are functional and correctly configured.
  • Content Management: Manage blog posting functionality and other types of content for various clients, ensuring SEO best practices and brand alignment.
  • Policy & Compliance: Review and update copyright, privacy policy, and terms of use pages to ensure compliance.
  • Performance Reports: Regularly run Google Lighthouse reports and implement recommendations to improve site performance and accessibility.

Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of SEO strategies, website management, and web development tools.
  • Experience with DNS management across multiple hosting providers.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple client projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both for client interaction and team collaboration.
  • Familiarity with Google Lighthouse, GA4, Google Search Console, and other web tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS preferred.
