Job Title : Centennial Community Fellow Compensation : $32,000/year Fellows will receive free coworking membership during their fellowship as well as 3 months to use at their discretion and will have access to a large network of start-ups and entrepreneurial companies. Hours: Full time, 8-5 pm 40 hours a week with potential to work evenings and weekends Location: Raleigh Founded Centennial at 1017 Main Campus Dr. Start Date: Immediate Overview: This job role at Raleigh Founded is designed for students or recent grads who are interested in business, entrepreneurship, HR, operations, project management, environmental studies, event management, marketing, design, or other relevant topics, and who are interested in immersing themselves in a community of entrepreneurs and getting hands-on experience with space operations. Community Coordinators will focus primarily on day-to-day space operations, customer service, community management, administrative tasks, and assisting with sales and leasing but will be introduced into the community to build their professional networks. Staff will also work closely with them to identify professional goals and develop programming and connections that is specific to their areas of interest. Skill Development: - Task Management - Operations/Inventory Management - Professional writing and correspondence - Event Planning (if applicable) - Marketing (if applicable) - Software Education - Google Docs, Canva, Mailchimp, Coworks, Asana, Slack - Increased knowledge about business and entrepreneurship, fundraising, etc. - Customer Service - Interpersonal skills - Time management Roles/Duties: - Assist Raleigh Founded members with issues - Oversee inventory of Centennial - Oversee Centennial space from 8:30 am-5 pm M-F with flexibility for potential weekend work - Oversee the Centennial member community - Keep space clean and tidy - Greet visitors and give tours of suites and event space as needed - Develop and maintain customer relations with members and sponsors - Lift 20 lbs. - Maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships with employees, peers, and community members. - Maintain the B Corps standards for Raleigh Founded operations and look for additional ways to improve our B Corps score. - Attend all Raleigh Founded hosted events - Attend weekly team meetings, monthly reporting meetings, and quarterly retreats -Other duties as assigned Event Rentals: - Manage sales, scheduling, and execution of all external bookings at four Raleigh Founded locations, including but not limited to: conferences, meeting room rentals, weekend events. - Provide onsite coordination for necessary events - Arrange for special event cleaners when necessary - Answer questions of clients and familiarize them with the space and operations for events, availability, and pricing - Tour potential clients of the space - Meet with clients to discuss their event - Conduct event walkthroughs to go over needs and expectations after sales have closed - Enter updated data into Triple Seat booking system and coworks booking system (CRM) - Send invoices, collect payments, send reminders as needed for all event types - Track monthly sales and project future sales - Inform Raleigh Founded community of private events in a timely manner - Disseminate imperative information to other Raleigh Founded staff regarding event rentals Preferred Qualifications: - Keen eye for detail and processes - Past experience in restaurant or other hospitality experience - Good attitude - Willing to “roll up your sleeves” and clean or help out your fellow coworkers and interns - Customer service experience - Organization - Attention to detail - Impeccable follow up skills
